She couldn't wait to ride her new bike!!
On the evening of her birthday Lily got to party with a couple of friends.
She got the girls together to have makeovers, eat pizza, and watch the world premiere of "Princess Protection Program". (Wait a minute! Makeup, pizza, and a movie? She thinks she's 13 already!)

Here's Lil getting her makeup done. She was so excited. The girls got to choose their colors, and all three of them chose pink and blue eye shadow. Lovely!
She got a phone call during the party so her cousins could sing her happy birthday. (Tell me she doesn't look like a 13 year-old? Scary!)
And here's the birthday girl, muggin' for the camera. Lil doesn't just stand and smile, it's always about striking a pose!
The partygoers eating their pizza and watching the movieIt was a very fun party, and a very great day! It's hard for me to believe that beautiful big girl is the same one who spent her first eight days in the NICU. We waited for what seemed like forever to bring her home, and she was so sick. And now here she is, growing, smiling, playing, laughing, and causing all sorts of trouble. We wouldn't have it any other way!
